Carlos A. Baldor Sr. is the late founder of BST Global.
Mr. Baldor established BST Data Systems in 1971, as a data service bureau that processed data for clients in various industries. One of BST’s first clients was an engineering consultancy, which inspired the company to concentrate on the development of a business software solution specifically for the architectural and engineering (AE) industry. This ultimately led to the creation of BST Global, as it is known today.
Under Mr. Baldor’s leadership, BST Global fully committed to servicing the AE industry. Mr. Baldor fostered a culture of innovation and growth within the company, achieving the following significant milestones:
Carlos A. Baldor Sr. served as the President and CEO of BST Global for nearly 50 years. Together with the Executive Management Team, Mr. Baldor guided the company to achieve solid growth and performance, in order to guarantee that the company remained at the forefront of the industry for years to come.
Prior to his founding of BST Data Systems and BST Global, Mr. Baldor worked for Honeywell and Martin Marietta in their aerospace programs, and for Bell Labs in the systems and communications fields. Mr. Baldor held a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and Master of Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. Mr. Baldor also completed a Graduate Study Program from Bell Telephone Laboratories.
