Summary of Duties & Responsibilities
The Project Manager is responsible for project planning, organization and delivery for product development initiatives under the guidance of the respective Product Director.

Essential Functions
- Work with senior stakeholder to clearly understand the business objectives of new initiatives
- Facilitate the estimating process for a newly approved software development initiative
- Developing a viable plan to deliver a newly approved software development initiative with input from key stakeholders, software engineering and quality assurance leadership
- Identifying resources required to support the project plan and working with the Product Director to schedule the appropriate resources
- Managing a software development initiative from approval to final release
- Ensuring the Release Management process and schedules are followed by the project team
- Developing the appropriate project tracking and status reporting mechanisms to deliver the project on time and on budget
- Communicating tasks, timelines and logistics to internal and external team members
- Scheduling prioritized software product backlog across the respective Product team, in balance with ongoing software development initiatives
- Setup and maintenance of software development projects in company project systems
- Attendance at critical implementation meetings, including workshops, testing sessions and steering committee meetings per the project plan
- Completing weekly timesheets and expense reports on a timely basis
- Completion of Project Status reporting on a timely and regular basis
- Keeping immediate Supervisor and Product Director informed of all relevant issues and concerns along with identifying potential mitigating steps
- Fostering a positive and team oriented working environment for the respective Product team
- Compliance with all Company and Group policies and procedures
Skills & Competencies
Need Solid to Advanced abilities for the below:
- Proven experience in delivering at least three complex distributed systems (ERP, custom-built, Business Intelligence) from requirements to production in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) environment
- Architectural Knowledge of the Microsoft Azure Big Data environment
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to develop professional and compelling collateral
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to motivate a team to perform
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high aptitude to learn
- Knowledge and experience with software development methodologies including waterfall and agile.
- Ability to identify and formulate mitigation strategies for project dependencies, issues and risk
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Products
- Experience using JIRA or Azure Dev Ops
- Awareness of Earned Value Management concepts
Education or Prior Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- +10 years in software development project management
- 3 to +5 years in software development technical project management in the delivery of Analytics or AI/ML commercial products
