For this year’s users conference, we hosted clients in Amelia Island, FL, November 10–13. PowerUp 2025 took place at the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island resort and was attended by nearly 200 BST Global experts, clients and product users from around the world. The conference began Monday evening with a welcome reception of cocktails, dinner and a steel drum band under our oceanfront tent.
On Tuesday morning, BST Global’s CEO, Javier A. Baldor, presented an insightful keynote address on the AEC industry and the rise of the AI-powered, data-driven “Superconsultancy” thanks to converging megatrends in emerging tech. He then welcomed Chief Product Officer Debbie Preacher and Manager of Sales Engineering Leigh Valenti to share the latest developments within BST Global’s suite of project intelligence™ solutions. PowerUp’s opening keynote sessions wrapped up with BST Global President and CTO Chief Product Officer Carlos A. Baldor Jr. sharing the company’s vision for the future, focusing on our AI and data strategy.
Throughout the rest of the day, attendees spent their time networking and attending breakout sessions, roundtable discussions and hands-on labs. The day closed with our 90-minute Finance & Accounting Operations forum featuring client panelists from Colliers Engineering & Design, DLZ and KPFF. Later, attendees enjoyed an “Evening With the Experts,” joining BST Global leaders, product experts and client managers off site for dinner at the Sandbar. The group was also treated to a surprise musical performance by our multi-talented Senior Product Manager, Scott Tate!
Wednesday morning kicked off with special guest Matt Reiffer, Vice President and Advocacy Counsel at ACEC, presenting on the current progress of our industry’s advocacy agenda amid the disruption and opportunities created by the current U.S. administration and Congress.

PowerUp: AEC 2030 | The Rise of the AI-Powered + Data-Driven “Superconsultancy”
Next, BST Global’s Chief Marketing Officer, Eileen M. Canady, took the stage to share highlights from this year’s AI Summit and findings from our “AI + Data Insights 2025: Global AEC Industry Report.” Attendees spent the remainder of the day learning, exploring and collaborating with product experts, fellow users and BST Global leaders in breakout sessions and labs.
Day two came to a spectacular close with a client appreciation event that featured bourbon tasting and a delicious dinner. The PowerUp party continued with dancing, door prizes, a cozy fire and games in our Glow Garden, making it a night to remember!
Thursday morning brought BST Global Director of Release Management Danielle Paul to the stage to discuss the product release roadmap for BST Global solutions over the next few years. Then, Carlos and Debbie closed the conference with a town hall–style discussion, taking questions and comments from clients about the future of our product suite, emerging technologies, user best practices and more.
