Jensen Hughes’ Chief Executive Officer, Raj Arora, sits down with BST Global’s Chief Executive Officer, Javier A. Baldor, to talk about what’s on the horizon for the AEC industry during the AI era.  

During their conversation, Raj shares insights into his leadership style within a world-renowned safety, security and risk-based engineering and consulting firm. He talked about his passion for improving the employee experience and how he feels AI technologies might help achieve that. 

While on the topic of AI, Raj also touches on his expectation that it will have an impact similar to the level of impact the internet had once it was made accessible to the broader population. He goes on to detail three horizons of technology on which businesses can engage, notes how AI is drastically affecting all of them, and calls on technology companies to help the AEC industry advocate for change that incorporates these advancements. 

The talent shortage in the AEC industry is also a recurring theme in the discussion. Raj shares his excitement around the opportunities to solve the talent shortage with technology and how doing so will allow aggressive growth and ultimately inspire more private equity investments.
