ABOUT THE SESSION
AI’s early integration into engineering and project delivery has focused on individual use cases, improving design productivity, optimizing schedules, enhancing cost forecasting and automating workflows. While these innovations have delivered significant value, most organizations still operate with fragmented insights and disconnected decisions.
The next phase of AI is not about adding more tools. It is about creating project intelligence: the ability to connect data, workflows, expertise and AI capabilities into a unified system that continuously guides project execution.
In this keynote, Summer Husband explores how the industry is moving beyond isolated AI applications toward a new model of intelligent project delivery. Central to this transformation is the emergence of a decision layer that integrates information across disciplines, provides real-time insight and helps teams make better decisions as conditions change.
Through practical examples, attendees see how AI can evolve from a collection of point solutions into an adaptive delivery ecosystem that improves predictability, performance and outcomes across the full project lifecycle. The session also explores the critical role of domain expertise, trust, and organizational change in ensuring AI-driven insights are actionable, adopted and aligned with real-world project constraints.
