What Are the
Innovator of the Year Awards?

Innovation doesn’t happen by accident — it’s driven by bold leaders who turn emerging technology into real‑world impact. New this year, BST Global will recognize three AEC leaders using emerging technology as Innovator of the Year, representing emerging, mid-market and enterprise firms during the AI Summit in Palm Beach, FL, November 10–12, 2026.

About the Awards

  • Nominate an AEC colleague who demonstrates visionary leadership, originality in advancing innovation across the industry and the ability to translate that innovation into meaningful business, societal or cultural impact.
  • Nominations close on Friday, July 31, 2026.
  • BST Global, in partnership with the AI + Data Consortium, will review all nominations to determine the winners.
  • BST Global will provide hotel accommodations and complimentary AI Summit attendee tickets for each winner and their significant other.

Award Criteria

Provide concrete examples of how your nominee has demonstrated visionary leadership and positively influenced the adoption of innovation within their firm, the AEC industry and/or society at large.
Describe the innovations your nominee has spearheaded, including specific examples that demonstrate how their innovations are distinctive in concept, execution or delivery. Explain how your nominee is blazing the trail ahead.
Describe how your nominee has successfully implemented innovation, including tangible outcomes and impacts. Share concrete examples that demonstrate how their innovations have driven business, cultural or societal value.
