BST Global CEO Shares Industry Insights in Foreword for ACEC Research Institute’s 2026 Value-Based Pricing Report

The ACEC Research Institute invited BST Global Chief Executive Officer and ACEC Research Institute board member Javier A. Baldor to provide a foreword for its 2026 report, “Beyond the Hour: Making a Case for Value-Based Pricing.” This research effort examines AI’s role in the AEC industry, the current state of value-based pricing and whether AI could drive a shift away from the traditional time-and-materials model.

In his foreword, Javier explores the incredible opportunity that AI brings to the AEC industry, but also points out the existential threat it poses. While AI technology enables firms to produce the same output faster and with fewer resources, it also opens the door to investments from tech giants that will drive significant market disruption.
