During ACEC’s 2023 Annual Convention & Legislative Summit in Washington, D.C., BST Global CEO Javier A. Baldor presented a breakout session titled “How AI + Big Data Will Transform the AEC Industry” to a packed room. Later, he was a guest on ACEC’s Engineering Influence podcast, where he sat down with ACEC Senior Vice President of Communications & Marketing Jeff Urbanchuk to discuss how breakthrough technologies like ChatGPT will affect AEC firms.
Kicking off the conversation, Javier stated, “AI, machine learning and big data are, technologically speaking, the future of our industry.” He also addressed some specific areas of project-based business that he feels will change as the integration of these technologies becomes more widespread.
