1971

BST Data Systems, Inc. is founded. Cofounders Triana and Sosa leave the company early on and the Baldor family assumes full ownership.

1971

1978

BST Data Systems, Inc. establishes a subsidiary BST Consultants, Inc., evolving from data processing to software development.

1978

1980

The MIS application launches globally, making it available to existing and potential clients around the world.

1980

1985

With the introduction of more powerful, networked microcomputers, the MIS application is ported to a new environment.

1992

BST Consultants launches a relational database MIS, the first solution with multi-company and multi-currency capabilities in one database.

1999

BST8 is introduced to the marketplace. It is the first application in the industry to be completely web-enabled.

To serve the growing needs of international clients, BST Consultants initiates a global expansion strategy.

The company secures its first international client, beginning a global expansion that now encompasses 65 countries on six continents.

BST Consultants launches the Solutions Delivery Group, marking the beginning of a new era as a services and technology company.

Continuing their father’s legacy, Javier A. Baldor and Carlos A. Baldor Jr. are named CEO and President of the company, respectively.

Born in Havana, Cuba, Carlos Sr. came to the United States with his family in 1960. Over the next 60 years, he and his wife Liana built a legacy that serves as the cultural foundation of the BST Global family.
