FIDIC’s Global Infrastructure Conference takes place online again this year on Friday, September 10, and Monday, September 13. The conference, “Investing in Future Infrastructure — Governance & Leadership in a Post-Pandemic World,” will look at the global need for high-quality and sustainable infrastructure in the context of a world coming out of the COVID-19 crisis.

The event will consider the challenges faced by both the public and private sectors in developing successful projects and maintaining high-performing infrastructure assets in a rapidly changing world of digitization, energy transition, climate change, geo-politics and growing societal needs. The conference will feature leading keynote speakers who will address the planning, funding and delivery of sustainable infrastructure as well as examining the business, industry and political leadership needed to make it happen.

BST Global’s Chief Executive Officer, Javier A. Baldor, will participate in the “Finance Forum” on Monday at 13:50–15:30 CEST (7:50–9:30 a.m. EDT). In this session, panelists will address efficiency challenges facing the infrastructure sector in securing a sustainable industry due to COVID-19.
