With a background in water engineering and a passion for leveraging technology for better outcomes, Nasrine transitioned to the digital domain to inspire Mott MacDonald's engineers to embrace smarter and more innovative approaches.

As Head of AI, Nasrine focuses on harnessing the transformative power of AI while navigating its inherent complexities. She is committed to responsible AI principles, ensuring fairness, transparency and accountability are central to every AI implementation. Nasrine balances the immense opportunities AI presents with a robust risk management approach, prioritizing cross-functional collaboration and global engagement to ensure responsible and impactful AI deployments.

Throughout her career, Nasrine has led various innovative projects, including the deployment of Mott MacDonald’s virtual assistant, EMMA, which supports knowledge sharing across the company. She also managed projects involving real-time decision support systems, such as the Safeswim water quality prediction tool in New Zealand and a flood forecasting platform for Bangkok.
