Summary of Duties & Responsibilities

The Project Manager I is responsible for project planning, execution, and delivery of projects for professional service firms. Projects managed include ERP implementations, upgrades, and point solutions under the guidance of a Project Director.

Essential Functions

  • Manage client engagements with limited customizations/integrations including ERP Implementations and ERP upgrades using a standard implementation methodology.
  • Facilitate planning session topics with clients during ERP implementations.
  • Collaborate with discipline leaders to develop accurate project resource plans.
  • Effectively manage project change order process (identify, curate, and close value-add opportunities).
  • Effectively identify and manage scope (including identification of custom engagements).
  • Demonstrate ability to lead BST10 ERP implementation planning session topics.
  • Effectively manage project financials (Budget vs. Actual, ETC, Billing, Collections/AR).
  • Identify when to escalate/engage other internal BST teams.
  • Engage with client executive leadership via steering committees.
  • Familiarity with Architecture/Engineering industry processes.
  • Presentation of project status to internal and client stakeholders.
  • Create and present polished client facing material.
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal project management discipline.

 

Typical Project Profile:

  • Duration: 3-15+ Months
  • Project Budget: $50k – $300k+
  • Project Portfolio Budget: $100k – $700k+

  • Strong ability to deliver Enterprise Resource Planning software implementations.
  • Exhibit attention to detail.
  • Identify and manage project issues and risks.
  • Ability to lead and motivate multi-discipline project teams.
  • Presentation skills with the ability to develop professional and compelling collateral.
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Educations or Prior Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related discipline
  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) a plus
  • 3-5+ years of Project Management experience
